Apathy vs. Objection

I was never one for follow-through.

I cannot tell you how many half started projects lay strewn about my life. A sewing project here, a water color there, binders of photography ideas never quite fulfilled. I must have creative ADD. Writing has been the same way; I literally have a dozen diaries, journals and the like.

We'll see how this plays out.

For the record; I know I'm late for this "blogging" phenomenon. I've kinda always been that way. Blame the small town I grew up in, or the hippie parents. It took me over two years after everyone was getting over MySpace to actually set one up. I could play it off like "I'm not conforming to the masses man" or come up with some awesome political statement as to why it's taken me until now. But if I'm honest...I'm just lazy I think. I would rather it be something better than that...trust me, I would love it to be better than that, but it is what it is I guess.

Looking back, I once had what would now be kind of a blog. It wasn't a public forum, so I guess that doesn't count, but I did write daily thoughts and commentaries on my word processor when I was 13 or so. Maybe I was cool before my time, I was a trendsetter.

Shhh; let me cling tight to this fragile notion.

Whatever the reasons I have floating around in my subconscious; lets hope this time it really sticks. I have a lot of changes happening in my life and I feel like I'll be needing an outlet of expression.
